There is not limit on the variety of profiles that can be extruded, reducing subsequent client operations, and enabling more resistant and complex sections.
The Extrusion Unit sells extruded profiles. To do so, it has a team of engineers and metallurgists specialized in new developments (processes and tooling) to propose innovative, customized solutions. The plant has two extrusion presses, with an annual installed capacity of 20,000 tons, and the best quality technologies:
- 7″ fully automated Italian Extral direct extrusion press with a capacity of 1,800 tons, maximum DCC of 200 mm, and linear weight up to 7 kg/m
- 9″ fully automated Italian Presezzi direct extrusion press with a capacity of 3,300 tons, maximum DCC of 400mm, and linear weight up to 20 kg/m
- Three-dimensional equipment for 3D coordinate measurement, with centesimal accuracy
- Traction Machine with tests up to 100kg
- Profile projector with centesimal precision for measuring dimensions in 2D manual mode
- Durometer for measuring on the Brinell scale
- Bench top durometer for HRC and HRB scale measurement
- Electrical conductivity measuring equipment
